Is PoDi free for buyers?

Yes. Sending a request and receiving offers is completely free for vehicle owners. PoDi never charges buyers for posting a request, receiving offers or choosing a supplier.

How does PoDi actually work?

PoDi is a platform that connects you with auto parts suppliers in the region. You describe the part you need and your vehicle, we forward the request to suppliers covering that brand and area, and they send you their offers. You decide who to buy from.

Who actually sells me the part? Is it PoDi?

Accepted Answer

No. PoDi does not sell parts, hold stock or arrange delivery. You buy the part from the supplier who sent you the offer (a scrapyard, specialised shop or distributor). PoDi only puts you in touch with them.

Question 4

What should I include in my request to get good offers?

Accepted Answer

The more detail, the better. It helps to include: make, model, year of production and engine type, the VIN if available, the exact part name or catalogue number, and one or two photos of the existing part. This way suppliers can identify the part quickly and send more accurate offers.

How fast can I expect offers?

Accepted Answer

Response time depends on the availability of the part and the number of suppliers covering it. Many requests receive answers within a day or two, while rarer or older parts can take a bit longer. PoDi does not guarantee a specific timeframe.

What happens if I do not respond to offers?

Accepted Answer

If offers arrive and you do not accept, decline, send a message or manually close the request, we send reminders after 24, 48 and 72 hours. After 96 hours with no buyer action, the request is closed automatically so suppliers are not left waiting on an inactive lead.

Question 7

Which countries does the platform cover?

Accepted Answer

The platform covers Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia. Suppliers from these countries can respond to your request, and you arrange delivery and any customs paperwork directly with them.

Does PoDi guarantee the condition or quality of the part?

Accepted Answer

No. The condition, fitment, warranty, payment and delivery of the part are the responsibility of the supplier who sold it to you. PoDi is a connection platform and is not party to the transaction or to any later complaints.

Can I find parts for older or rarer vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Often yes. The regional network of scrapyards and specialised suppliers is a good source of used and hard-to-find parts for older models. For very specific parts, however, we cannot guarantee availability in advance.

How do I pay for the part?

Accepted Answer

You arrange payment directly with the supplier (bank transfer, cash on delivery, payment on pickup or any other method they offer). PoDi is not involved in the payment and does not collect money on the supplier’s behalf.

What if I am unhappy with the offer or the delivery?

All agreements on price, delivery, returns and complaints are handled directly with the supplier you bought from. If you believe a supplier has broken our platform rules, let us know and we will review the situation, but PoDi does not mediate the transaction itself.

Who is PoDi for on the supplier side?

PoDi is built for scrapyards, auto parts shops, distributors and specialised suppliers who want to receive targeted requests from buyers across the region. If you sell used or new auto parts, the platform can bring you new enquiries.

Do suppliers pay to use the platform?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Unlike buyers, suppliers pay for access to the platform through a subscription or package plan, depending on how many brands and requests they want to cover. You can see the details on the pricing page.

Does an offer count if the buyer never responds?

Accepted Answer

If the buyer takes no action for 96 hours, PoDi automatically closes the request and returns the open offer to the supplier limit. If the buyer accepts, declines, sends a message or manually closes the request, the offer counts as used because the supplier received a real buyer signal.

How do I receive buyer requests?

Accepted Answer

After registration, your dashboard shows requests that match the brands and regions you have selected. You can send an offer with a price, the condition of the part, an estimated delivery time and, if useful, photos.

What does "verified supplier" mean?

Accepted Answer

A verified supplier has passed basic contact checks and, when the profile is presented as a company, business identity checks such as tax ID, VAT ID or available public registry data. It is a later trust badge, not manual account approval before use. It does not mean PoDi guarantees the part condition, price, delivery or response time.

Is there a trial period or free offers?

There is no time-based trial. Instead, every new supplier gets 3 free offers each month on the free plan, so you can first see what kind of requests arrive. When you need more volume, you pick a plan that fits your business (Basic, Professional, Enterprise) on the pricing page.

Can my small scrapyard or parts shop join?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform is open to smaller scrapyards, specialised workshops and parts shops as well. What matters is that you reply seriously to enquiries and communicate clearly with buyers.
